Good evening, Peeps! I hope Santa was as good to y’all as he was to me. And, I was able to watch two new Netflix releases in the last week.
Jay Kelly, starring George Clooney, is about an actor who does a little growing up on his way to accept a tribute award. There are many good actors in it, including Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Riley Keough, Greta Gerwig, Emily, Mortimer, Isla Fisher, Stacy, Keach, Jim Broadbent, Patrick Wilson, and Billy Crudup. It was good.
Another movie with Jim Broadbent is The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. He plays a gentleman with a friend that was recently placed on hospice. He believes that he can save her if she waits for him while he walks the almost 500 miles to see her. Other people starring Ring in this film include Penelope Wilton, Linda Bassett And OK, just to name a few. It was delightful.
