Happy New Year!

What? January is almost over?? Wasn't Christmas just last week?

OMG, Y’all…time is flying. Where did January go? I did make a quick run to the beach.

Then I was home for a hot minute, before I made a run to a different beach.

While I’ve been here, the weather at home has prevented me from returning there.

I did bring sewing supplies and I started a new quilt.

The pattern is called Fresh Diamonds. The quilt is made up entirely of HSTs (boss for half-square triangles). I am almost finished sewing all the two square units together that will be cut in half on the diagonal. Seventy-eight square units will turn into 156 HSTs.

In breaking news, the 2026 Oscars nominations have been announced. I don’t think I’ve seen any of the movies on the list. Horrors.
