Happy Fourth of July!!!
Back in the day, my family would gather around the tee vee to watch such classics as Gunsmoke, Bewitched, Green Acres, That Girl and The Beverly Hillbillies. They made The Beverly Hillbillies into a movie in 1993. I was helping out a convalescing family member recently and after watching just about everything else streaming on Netflix, we watched The Beverly Hillbillies. It was quite campy, but so was the original television series. It was cute, but mostly because it brought back lots of memories.
Love The Coopers was not as funny as I thought it would be. It was more of a dramedy. Longtime married couple, Sam and Charlotte Cooper, are planning to divorce, but want to celebrate one last Christmas together with the whole family before they share the news. The movie stars John Goodman, Diane Keaton, Marisa Tomei and June Squibb, just to name a few. All in all, it was a little predictable, but pretty good.
Off to watch some fireworks...
MK out.
Sounds like good knitting time and old movies while The Kid is convalescing. How are you doing? Besides the mother thing - go/fetch/feed and whatever else mother's do for their kids. How is The Kid doing?
ReplyDeleteLove the ruffles and the stuff you are making for the Princess K and the Bitty Baby. You got it going. I had to play catch up on all the blogs today.
